Q + A

When should we plan on arriving/departing?

Guests can begin arriving anytime after 3pm on Friday, October 4th. We have the camp booked for the entire weekend, through the evening on Sunday. A full schedule of the weekend is also listed on our homepage.

Do we need to contact Camp Ogontz to reserve our accommodation?

No. To make things easier on our guests and ensure family and friends were placed near each other, we have paid up front for accommodations and worked with the venue to determine pricing. You will pay us directly for accommodations. Please visit our Weekend Accommodations tab to learn more.

How do we pay for our Ogontz accommodation?

Please visit our Weekend Accommodations tab on this site to pay for housing and note any special housing requests on your RSVP.

What should we bring to a camp wedding?

The following is a non-exhaustive list of items you may want to consider bringing: Range of comfortable clothes for the day, keeping weather/temperature in mind. - Appropriate attire for the welcome dinner and wedding event - Warm layer for the evenings - Rain coat, just in case - Warm pajamas for the evenings - Hiking boots, if you plan on doing some hiking. - Swimsuit for the hot tub - Sunscreen, bug spray, toiletries - Sunglasses - Headlamp and/or Flashlight - Your favorite lawn games - Note: Bedding, including heated blankets, will be provided for all guests. Queen beds are available in all cabins.

Can we bring our children?

Yes! Children are welcome at all events. Our only ask is to please be mindful during the wedding ceremony if you have a newborn or young children. We will have options to view the ceremony from the nearby reception hall deck if you feel more comfortable!

My dog is my child, is he/she invited?

Unfortunately, Camp Ogontz does not allow more than one dog on the property at a time. For those traveling with dogs, the Littleton Pet Center is nearby and provides accommodation. If you’re leaving your pet at home, you can try a service such as Rover or Wag. We also have trusted dog sitters in the Boston area we can recommend!

What should we plan on wearing for the weekend?

For the ceremony, our dress code is Semi-Formal, meaning women can wear anything from a floor-length dress to a below the knee dress or elegant pantsuit. Men are asked to wear a dress shirt and slacks, with a sport coat and/or tie, where possible. As we are are treating our welcome dinner similar to an extended rehearsal dinner, we are asking guests to dress nicely for dinner on night one. A cocktail or elevated sundress for women and nice slacks and dress shirt for men is great. All other weekend events are casual, please feel free to wear comfortable clothing throughout the remainder of the weekend!

What is the WiFi & cell coverage situation at Ogontz?

There is limited internet access at Camp Ogontz. Cellular coverage can be spotty; Verizon is the only carrier that works consistently. Please plan accordingly (ie: download map/directions before getting off the highway, etc.).
